Everything falconers ask first
Frequently Asked Questions
-
Yes. The mobile app is local-first - every weigh-in, hunt log and decision is computed and stored on your device. When you are back in signal it syncs to the cloud and to your other devices. The mews has no Wi-Fi and the deep desert has no bars; Mīzān is built for exactly that.
-
iPhone, iPad and Android for the main app, Apple Watch for the wrist companion, and Web or PWA - installable straight from any browser - for the owner dashboard. Vets and hospitals you invite get their own dedicated Vet Portal. Sign in once and your birds appear everywhere.
-
Mīzān compares each bird's latest weight to its target band, then layers in live wind, temperature, humidity, sky condition and remaining daylight. The result is one clear verdict per bird. Tap "Why?" to see every factor that drove it -thresholds tuned for Saker, Peregrine and hybrids flown in Gulf heat.
-
Live conditions for your real GPS location, or any city you pick. Wind, temperature, feels-like, humidity and sunset feed straight into the day’s flight call - no separate weather app needed.
-
It shows today's call, live weather and each bird's weight at a glance. You can start and stop a flight or hunt with one tap - it times the session and syncs to your phone the moment you are back in range. Quick weigh-in and feeding logs too.
-
It tracks you, the falconer - not the bird. There's no tracker on the falcon itself. Open Live Hunt on your phone or Watch and it records your route, distance and speed as you follow the flight, with tap-to-drop waypoints for flushes, kills and rest stops. Everything closes into a hunt journal attached to the bird when you're done.
-
Milwah-week races are logged entry by entry, from first weigh-in through every heat to the podium. Mazayen beauty competitions are scored across seven categories, building a full show record behind each bird - both feed straight into that bird's Digital Passport.
-
Ask Mīzān anything about your birds - feed rations, race readiness, a sudden weight drop - and it answers from that bird's real history, not generic advice. Simple questions are answered instantly, on-device, at no cost - even offline. Harder questions draw on a broader panel of leading AI models for full reasoning, and always start from your bird's own data, never a guess. Available in Arabic and English.
-
A bilingual PDF and public QR record for every bird - identity, provenance, full lifetime activity and competition honours in one place. Anyone can scan the QR to verify it, no login required, and a Verified-by-Mīzān badge signals the record was issued and maintained on the platform. It travels with the bird through every sale, gift or inheritance.
-
Yes. Vaccinations, medications and deworming - with dose, route and next-due reminders - sit on the same timeline as weigh-ins and hunts, visible to the owner at all times.
-
Yes. Invited vets and hospitals get a dedicated Vet Portal with a clinical view of the bird - vitals, weight history and records - from referral to discharge. They see what the owner shares; ownership of the record never transfers to the clinic.
-
Fully. Arabic and English throughout - with Eastern-Arabic numerals and falconry vocabulary written the way falconers write it: ḥurr, shāheen, saqr, mazayen, milwah.
-
Yes. Invite a saqqar (trainer) with a secure code. They can log weigh-ins, hunts and training, but ownership of the bird and its records stays with you.
-
The bird's owner, always. Invite a saqqar or a vet and they can add entries, but they can never export, transfer, or take the bird's history with them. Mīzān is built on a compliance-first architecture aligned with regional data protection standards.
Everything one falcon needs, in one place.
Every weigh-in, hunt track and pedigree record compounds. The history cannot be back-filled. The owner cannot afford to lose it. Switching cost rises with every logged day.
