1. Acceptance of terms

‍These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of the Mīzān iOS and Android app, Apple Watch app, Web/PWA owner dashboard, Admin Console, and Vet Portal (together, the "Services"), operated by Flymizan DWC-LLC, Dubai South Business Park, Dubai, United Arab Emirates ("Mīzān," "we," "us"). By creating an account or using the Services, you agree to these Terms and to our Privacy Policy.

2. The Services‍ ‍

Mīzān is a falcon management platform providing weight tracking, weather-aware Fly/Hold/Rest calls, training and hunt logging, Mazayen and race records, health and vaccination tracking, an AI Coach, and a Digital Passport for each bird, across mobile, watch, web, and portal surfaces.

3. Accounts & roles

  • ‍Owner — the account holder responsible for a bird's records and subscription. A bird has one Owner at a time.

  • Saqqar (Trainer) — invited by an Owner with scoped access to log activity for specific birds. A Saqqar does not own the bird's data and cannot transfer, export, or delete the bird's records.

  • Vet — invited by an Owner or connected via a partner hospital, with a clinical view of health-related records for birds shared with them.

  • Guest / Kid profile — limited, non-administrative access as configured by the Owner.

‍You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activity under your account. Notify us promptly of any unauthorized use.

‍ 4. Subscriptions & billing

  • ‍ ‍Subscription tiers, bird and seat limits, and pricing are as displayed at signup or in your account settings.

  • Subscriptions renew automatically for successive billing periods unless cancelled before the renewal date.

  • You may cancel at any time; cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period. [Confirm refund policy — see separate Refund & Subscription Policy.]

  • We may change subscription pricing with advance notice; continued use after a price change takes effect constitutes acceptance.

  • Invited Saqqar and Vet seats are provided at no additional cost within the Owner's plan limits, as described on our pricing page.

‍ 5. Digital Passport

‍A Digital Passport is generated from the information you and any invited Saqqar or Vet enter into the platform. You are responsible for the accuracy of information you submit.

  • A "Verified-by-Mīzān" badge indicates that a record was issued and is maintained on the Mīzān platform. It is not an appraisal, valuation, or third-party authentication of the bird, its health, or its provenance beyond what has been entered into the platform.

  • Ownership transfer within the platform (e.g., on sale) requires the actions of both the transferring and receiving account holders, or a process we specify. Mīzān is not a party to, and assumes no liability for, the underlying sale, gift, or transfer transaction between users.‍ ‍

6. AI Coach

‍The AI Coach is a decision-support tool grounded in your own bird's data. It is provided for informational purposes only and is not a substitute for professional veterinary care, licensed training advice, or your own judgment as a falconer. You are solely responsible for decisions made in reliance on AI Coach output. AI-generated responses may occasionally be incomplete or inaccurate; verify anything safety-critical independently.‍ ‍

7. Acceptable use

‍You agree not to:

Enter false, fraudulent, or misleading information into a bird's records or Digital Passport

  • Impersonate another person or misrepresent your role or authority over a bird

  • Use the Services to violate applicable wildlife, import/export, CITES, or falconry-permit laws in your jurisdiction — compliance with those laws remains your responsibility

  • Scrape, reverse-engineer, or interfere with the Services, or access them through unauthorized automated means

  • Use the Services to harass, defraud, or harm another user

8. Intellectual property

‍ Mīzān and its licensors own all rights in the Services, including the app, brand, design, and underlying software. You retain ownership of the photos, documents, and records you upload, and you grant Mīzān a license to host, process, and display that content as needed to operate the Services and generate features like the Digital Passport.

9. Termination

‍You may stop using the Services and close your account at any time. We may suspend or terminate your access for breach of these Terms, non-payment, or conduct that risks harm to other users or the platform, with notice where practicable.

‍10. Disclaimers & limitation of liability

‍The Services, including Fly/Hold/Rest calls and AI Coach output, are decision-support tools and are provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. Mīzān does not guarantee any particular animal-welfare, training, racing, or sale outcome. To the maximum extent permitted by law, Mīzān's aggregate liability arising from use of the Services is limited to the amount you paid us in the twelve months preceding the claim.

‍ ‍11. Indemnification

‍You agree to indemnify and hold Mīzān harmless from claims arising out of your use of the Services, your violation of these Terms, or your violation of any law or third-party right.

‍12. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be notified through the app or by email; continued use after changes take effect constitutes acceptance.
